The Badger area is known for great wild life and bird hunting and the many miles of snowmobile and ATV trails as well as many other outdoor sports and recreational activities. Fishing Lake of the Woods is less than an hour's drive from Badger. Roseau River Wildlife Area and Thief Lake Wildlife Area are short distances from Badger and offer many hours of exploration and sightseeing.
